  • 1- From 7 to 9:00 PM: The performance and interviews with renowned Indian classical artists will be featured on “Raag Aur Taal”, a show that airs every Sunday from 7pm to 9pm on WKCR 89.9 FM New York.Its name “Raag Aur Taal” translates to “Melody and Rhythm” in a classical context. Thus, the program primarily presents the classical and light classical music of India.
    It is the sister show to “Morning Ragas”, which airs on the same day from 6am to 8am.
    Hosted by : Ashok Ilankovan, Sriharsha Adhaval, Manisha & David Ellenbogen.

    Every first Sunday of each month.
    The Series will inaugurate a new program “Raga-Live” under Raag Aur Taal that will feature a live performance every first Sunday of the month in order to tie our program more closely to the Indian classical music scene in NYC. The program will continue within the scope of Raag Aur Taal presenting classical, light classical, and regional folk music of India.

    2- From 6 to 8:00AM: Morning Raags.WKCR FM New York - 89.9 FM is a non-commercial, non-profit radio station based at Columbia University, dedicated to alternative programming, especially in jazz, world, and new music forms.

Gharana Music is a show that focuses on Indian Classical music and airs every Monday night from 8-9 p.m. EST on 91.1 FM and also streams live on http://www.wrek.org.
